HR GENERALIST

Job Overview:

​

We are seeking an experienced and versatile HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a broad range of human resources activities including employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance with HR policies and procedures. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting our daily HR operations and contributing to the long-term development of our HR strategies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

​

  • Manage the full cycle of the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits.

  • Conduct payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant laws and tax obligations.

  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure a safe, equitable, and efficient workplace.

  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and organizational capabilities.

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.

  • Manage and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Assist in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and reports for decision-making support.

  • Participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars to keep abreast of new trends and developments in the field of human resources.

Qualifications:

​

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.

  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.

  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws and practices.

  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems experience is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and people skills.

  • Aptitude in problem-solving and conflict resolution.

  • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
